Broadband Contracts and Fees

Service Contract Information

A service contract is not required if you choose to pay the standard installation fee as outlined in the contract. You may choose to waive the standard installation fee if you consent to a contract. The contract length is disclosed in your service agreement. Typical contract length for residential service is 24 months (2 years).

The installation fee may also include additional construction costs as quoted on the contract. These costs cannot be waived with a contract.

Residential Internet Service

The installation fee for our residential service is $299, plus construction costs if applicable. You may choose to waive the $299 fee by agreeing to a 2-year contract if applicable. Additional construction costs are not waivable.

Multi-Dwelling Unit (rental)

The installation fee for our short-term rental service is $199, plus construction costs if applicable. You may choose to waive the $199 fee by agreeing to a 1-year commitment. Additional construction costs are not waivable.

Early Termination Fees (ETF)

Early termination fees apply only to those in a contract with Vibrant Broadband service.

Residential Home ETF

If you opt for a contract, the term of this contract shall commence on the date agreement was signed or authorized. Termination prior to the end of the contract shall result in an early termination fee equal to:

  • 12-23 months remaining = $399 early termination fee
  • 1-11 months remaining = $299 early termination fee 

Any additional costs (such as construction costs) will still apply.

Multi-Dwelling Unit (rental) ETF

If you opt for a contract, the term of this contract shall commence on the date agreement was signed or authorized. Termination prior to the end of the contract shall result in an early termination fee equal to:

  • $150 early termination fee

Any additional costs (such as construction costs) will still apply.

30-Day Satisfaction

If, after being installed, you are not satisfied with our service within 30 days and you choose to disconnect, we will waive the Early Termination Fee on any residential or multi-dwelling contract. This does not apply to business contracts.

Equipment Fee

The equipment fee covers the equipment attached to your home including the NID, ONT, POE, CAT5 cable, or Radio Transceiver. A wi-fi router is provided by Vibrant Broadband. You may choose to use your own wi-fi router, but doing so does not affect the equipment fee charge.

Meeker Cooperative Light & Power Association Member will have the base equipment fee waived.

Paper Billing Fee

Non-Meeker Co-op Members may sign up for e-billing and save $5.00 per month on paper billing.

Seasonal Maintenance Fee

Seasonal cabin owners may choose to turn off their internet service for up to 6 consecutive months for a maintenance fee of $14.95 per month during this time. You must keep your full internet service active for at least 6 consecutive months.

Cabin Connected Seasonal Maintenance Fee

Seasonal cabin owners may choose the Cabin Connected option, which includes a nominal upload speed and minimal download speed for video monitoring during the off-season for a fee of $21.95 per month (instead of the $14.95 per month maintenance fee).

Seasonal Reactivation Fee

If you choose a seasonal option, you will receive a one-time reactivation at no charge. If you reactivate your account more than once, a $20 reactivation fee will be charged for each activation.

Disconnection

If you are disconnected and do not return the equipment, you will be invoiced for the equipment along with any outstanding payments and fees.

Late Payment Charge

A late charge will be assessed for all payments received after the due date.
